Thanks for your firm commitment to not join others in bowing to Trump. I will also do what I can to encourage truthful coverage. I quit Twitter some time ago, am thinking I should also quite Facebook.

I posted this at a different Substack article, but it rings true here as well. I still can't get this image out of my head in which I see bezos and zuck dressed as court jesters running around the mad king's throne trying to keep him happy. The cowardliness of the oligarchs is only surpassed by their repulsiveness.

HELL NO to all these sellouts! Zuck trying to dress up the elimination of fact-checking as some sort of free speech initiative is really some special kind of radical right-wing BS!

The fact that it's TRUMP they're bowing down to -- Trump, hands-down the least competent person ever elected to the presidency -- makes it even worse. It also makes me wonder who else they're bowing down to. The Muskox is high on my list of suspects.

Have you read the book: the Chaos machine...? well, here it is the machine full view, just another iteration of how the chaos is okay with the silicon valley crowd as long as they make more money! Sucking up to the new admin is a great way to pave that road to riches.

Interesting, though, that Zuck is moving his "moderation and trust and safety teams" to Texas because "the ones in California are biased." That suggests to me that though the upper echelons of the "Silicon Valley crowd" may be right-wingers, those who are actually doing the work are not.

The social media mavens care about only making money. Nothing else. Too bad many people can't see they are sheep in wolves' coats.
