In light of that, the decision of the New York Times to immediately call for Biden to step aside is mind-blowingly irresponsible. Why, on the other hand, didn't the paper call for Trump to step aside after his torrent of lies during the so-called debate? For that matter, why hasn't the paper been posting banner headlines - and on a daily basis over the past four years - screaming out about the danger that Trump and his fascists cohorts pose to democracy? It makes you wonder what the paper's true objectives are. Is the publisher's real agenda simply to ensure that the bottom line will keep growing under a fascist regime?
The New York Times has lost every shred of credibility. And that is a crying shame when a free and unfettered press is needed, now more than ever.
