Some of the women who buy into the Trump cult seem to be suffering from a similar psychological problem, which is a concern with not being feminine enough. All the women in Trump's circle have a certain look--at least the 20- and 30-year-olds. There does seem to be allowance for wealthy, older women who are not extraordinarily thin and teetering on spike heels. Most of these women prefer to exercise power through men rather than directly, or to think that they are doing so. Their status, for them, depends on the status and power of the men who are their husbands.

In thinking more about this article, it occurred to me that perhaps we should include the "Tech Bros," as having similarly fragile egos when it comes to masculinity.
It seems important to separate the male insecurity, or misogyny, from the issues of young men that fail to enter the job market, or are having significant problems with developing real relationships, or marriages, with their female peers. Thatβs a real problem, but the Fox News BS portrayal about the roles of DEI & Woke, are just aimed at stoking young male rage & are aimed at developing new GOP male voters, while NOT solving the issues young men now face.
These insecure men are reacting to the end times of the patriarchy. And the women as well. Who will protect them if βdaddyβ isnβt in charge? The patriarchy is slowly(and I mean SLOWLY) dying. In the meantime there will be these last gasps of macho men and over injected women doing their best to keep the status quo.
