When the media underreports Trump's scams, that gives cover to those who claim "Everybody does it." Clearly, this is historic Presidential corruption by Trump, his friends and family. The Trump Phone scandal alone should be setting off alarms at the DOJ -- his sons collected $59 million in deposits a year ago for a phone that may or may not be delivered and, contrary to prior claims, won't be manufactured in the US. Yet this has received minimal coverage, mainly on Substack. So we have legacy media that underreports Trump's corruption, a Congress and DOJ in Trump's pocket and a Supreme Court that has enabled Trump's crooked and racist redistricting binge and given him immunity from criminal prosecution. How does democracy vanish so quickly?
Great points all!!! The problem is it's rare to read about all the grift in one place. And you're so on target about the media tiptoeing around the beast in the middle of the room. The roaring floodgates of information we all are drowning in is a second, ore complicating factor, not to mention Trump's all-out decade-long campaign to essentially destroy the free press. I'm particularly troubled by Don Jr. and Eric's slush fund that grows larger by the minute. How much of it is in crypto? And has anyone really studied World Liberty Financial (or whatever the heck is the name of their crypto operation?) Crypto can't be traced from what I understand. How very convenient. I hope all this dirty money goes to Trump's lawyers as we look forward to him being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (the Supreme Court notwithstanding.) a) I was watching NBC news with my mother tonight and the $1.8 billion slush fund got about 10 seconds in the middle of the broadcast. Infuriating.

Because more than two-thirds of Americans oppose his racist goals, Trump has developed ICE into a violent weapon deployed to batter Blue State Americans until they agree to let him dismantle our Constitutional Republic and replace it with a Fascist, White-Supremacist, Christian-Nationalist Kleptocracy ruled by the Trump Family Crime Syndicate.
No amount of propaganda spewed by Trump and his enablers can coverup the fact that Republicans are using physical violence in a desperate attempt to stay in power. ICE Bounty Hunters—encouraged by their treasonous supervisors—routinely employ violence to fill their racist quota of brown-skin-prey.
