They are repulsive. They can’t find the guts to admit they are racists, so they hide behind these petty attacks.

At least Kamala can actually travel to other countries. Trump can't!

The very best part is the GOP claiming that the Dems committed "fraud" by obviating all the bazillions of dollars (or what was left over from t's attorney fees) spend lying about Biden.

One has to worry a bit about the black woman part. But one also has to consider that most of the misogynist racists are already in the cult. I think the pièce de résistance would be Kamala announcing that she will create a special cabinet position for Biden, as an elder stateman to work with Blinken on foreign affairs, drawing on the goodwill Joe clearly has with foreign leaders. We can STILL be riden with Biden in a role that plays to his indisputable strengths

On the bazillions of dollars Republicans spent on attacking Biden, the GOP may need Trump Org’s Financial Monitor, Barbara Jones, for future guidance on their campaign spending.

The "very good" lawyer who claims Harris isn't a "natural born citizen" that Trump is referring to is none other than soon-to-be disbarred John Eastman, my Santa Fe neighbor, indicted "coup memo" author, homophobic former president of National Organization for Marriage that organizes anti-LGBTQ efforts, and a guy who has worked with Cleta Mitchell to "train" poll workers to create a paper trail, questioning anything that could delegitimize elections, like if someone mumbles her name. He’s one helluva guy.

Well said. What’s with CSPAN? I think a key at this point is whether the media will actually focus on the threat posed by Trump, his lies, Project 2025, and democracy.

Thank you for spelling out Republican hypocrisy in such clear terms, Mark, as well as for pointing out the media's collusion.

Here is the entire Republican campaign strategy in a sentence: "Do not vote for a black woman when you can vote for a white, male even if he is a convicted felon."

A reader commented that Harris should appoint Biden as a special advisor. Yesterday, I wrote that Harris should announce a list of policy advisors, including on issues that she has either little experience or has not received any recognition (like immigration). She could also announce that her future cabinet will be a mixture of incumbents and new members, including from her advisors. And she should state, (tongue firmly in cheek) that after due consideration, unlike Trump, her advisors and cabinet will not come from authors of Project 2025, convicted criminals, or both.

I say bring it on, knuckleheads. I think it will really display the extreme contrast between a truly disgusting, moronic and vulgar candidate (and party) with a very strong, intelligent and gracious candidate.

Thank you, Mark.

It truly is a disturbing trend for the continual support of such Foolishness. Yet, many do. Just what does it take for people to change their minds? I wonder… is this some form of idolatry? By supposed “christian-nationalists” no less? The depth of hypocrisy would be humorous if not perpetrated by adults whose supposed leadership roles are so influential on less critical thinking minds. Am I some “poster child” for critical thinking minds? NO! But, this “child” was taught, MANY years ago now, that there are some behaviors that are unacceptable. Being rude/impolite, bullying, stealing, cutting in line, bearing false witness, coveting, mocking or shaming another with malicious speech, etc…

The idea being that none of these traits are exemplary of Love.

I’m patiently waiting for more and more people to change their minds. I am Hopeful.

How many other nations in the world have had women presidents, prime ministers, or chancellors - the United Kingdom, Germany, India, the Phillipines, Israel, Argentina, Pakistan, Iceland, New Zealand, Uganda, etc.....? We, who got the world rolling into democracies and elections, have not had ONE woman head of state. Yet. Our culture has misogyny infecting our choices for far too long. I trust this maga puerile name calling and lies will backfire on these despicables. This is our moment to elect an experienced, strong, woman of character as President of the USA. I am excited.

It’s going to be funny to watch the GOP try to say VP Harris lacks experience when we’re still counting the experience of Trump’s VP in months, like you do with babies. 👶🏻

This birther b.s. will go on like with President Obama; not born in US, parents are foreigners, etc. They have no platform except for the 20/25 doctrine that most Americans DO NOT WANT so just attack the things that get under their skin; she’s black/oriental, she’s NOT a man, she’s a very strong woman that scares the hell out of them.

Hillary Clinton was perhaps the most qualified presidential candidate in 4 decades. She was a successful lawyer, best selling author, grammy award winner, consequential first lady, US Senator and Secretary of State, but the GOP managed to convince enough of the electorate that she was *unqualified, *too weak, *too leftist, *too sick, *too feeble, *too unlikeable, *a bad wife, *too complacent a wife and *an angry shrew. And worst of all, she wore PANTSUITS! Never overestimate the intelligence nor the decency of the American electorate.
