The reason (as you, I'm sure, are well aware) that The Guardian is direct in its indictments of our criminal regime is that the paper is wholly owned and administered by a trust that was set up to ensure its independence from corporate and political pressures.

I think the main stream press is complicit in Mr. Trump’s regime. The problem is not that they want to seem nonpartisan.
