Your list is full of so many that I read and listen to; however, you left out the one person I daily read, subscribe to, and admire - Simon Rosenberg and his Hopium Chronicles. His 30 + years of experience in the political strategy world, his heading a leading and influential political non-profit, his intimate connections with most Democratic leaders and influencers, for me, makes him the number one I would list. Weekly his website, Hopium Chronicles, introduces readers to new Democratic candidates for office and broadens their understanding of the issues. He writes with wisdom, humility, and knowledge Add him to your list, please.
Simon Rosenberg's Hopium Chronicles is #1 on my essential daily reading list. I would also add Adam Kinzinger, a former Republican and vehement anti-MAGA voice, who was one of only two Republicans on the January 6 committee (with Liz Cheney, who seems to have dropped out of sight.) He has knowledgeable commentary about the Criminal-in-Chief and this regime, as well as military and other insights. I highly recommend him as well as Simon.
Maddow is a fine jounalist, but she's on TV only once a week. And she's not breaking stories like she was a few years ago. Nothing against her -- I just thought it was best to highlight the many other strong voices out there.
Maddow spends the other six days producing profoundly newsworthy documentaries and award-winning books crucial to understanding American politics today. In so many ways, she blazed the trail for today’s vibrant independent journalism.
Steve Schmidt’s “The Warning” and Dean Blundell of the Save America Movement. Also, for in depth military analysis, I recommend Malcolm Nance’s “Black Man Spy” and Ken Harbaugh. Nance goes live daily with real time military intelligence and Harbaugh is with Meidas Touch.
