“20 “rude” questions the media should ask”
These questions are critical during these dangerous times.
Thank you.
Newsmakers know journalists have a short attention span. They know if they can stave off questions long enough, most reporters will move on to something else. And if the reporters keep asking tough questions, some politicians will deny them access. The journalists may even get in trouble with their own bosses if their questions come across as rude.

I would absolutely love to see questions asked each, and every individual! It’s time to start making true media true again mock news stations that are just spreading bull crap and misinformation. All these questions also need to be asked of every individual. What a great article. Thank you for writing this!
Why did your Justice Department take so long to start prosecuting Trump? If he overthrows our democracy, will you share responsibility?”
“For Trump:
You publicly identify as a practicing Christian and claimed in 2024 that you have been anointed by God. Can you recite the 10 Commandments? If your answer is yes, please do it for us right now.”
I just wish a reporter would yell out: "That's a lie!" It would have to be someone about to retirte, because they'd be fired for standing up for the truth.
Mark, This so brilliant and hard-hitting. Some of these questions I've been wondering about for a while, but many of them I had not even thought of. Thank you!
Actually these questions are worth copying and mailing to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and asking the person who resides there to be transparent, answer his questions, and ask his relatives and appointees (sycophants) to answer their's.
They could also ask whether he’s had a cognitive test since 2018.
One of the common themes here is that these questions don’t assume Trump and his minions know anything about anything. Which they clearly don’t. I wish someone had asked Trump in 2016 to explain how a bill becomes law, because he clearly didn’t know, and I’m not sure he does now.
At this point, however, exposing Trump’s subliterate ignorance would redound just as badly on our wealthy media stars as it would on Trump. So they won’t do it.
With your permission I would be willing to share these questions with various news media - and of course credit you.
Please let me know if that would be acceptable or, if you prefer I would not?
Thank you for the questions! They are magnificently on target!
Please do!
Yea! I will keep you updated!

Some appear to have accepted
Others sent forms …🤣 I will comply
Anyway
No more texts to you for now 🤣
I was able to copy your full text and your personal by line and photo from your post. So much more helpful.
Several abandoned attempts on Twitter due to parameters.
Submitted letter to Denver Post but am submitting a second to a provided email with your words verbatim instead of just a link.
I intend to pursue others.

Republicans are practicing what ORBAN taught them when they went to visit him, and also when he was making visits to trump.
Mark, talk to Timothy Snyder, Ruth ben-ghiet, Jennifer Rubin. 👍

Mark!!!
Outstanding questions to ask!
Two of my favorite:
“For former Attorney General Merrick Garland:
Why did your Justice Department take so long to start prosecuting Trump? If he overthrows our democracy, will you share responsibility?”
“For Trump:
You publicly identify as a practicing Christian and claimed in 2024 that you have been anointed by God. Can you recite the 10 Commandments? If your answer is yes, please do it for us right now.”
Give tRump an easier one: How many testaments are in the bible?
We should also list all the ways Trump, Musk and the administration are defying the 10 commandments. That could go viral.
I really want the answers to those questions.
I’m a Christian and I can’t recite the Ten Commandments without crib notes either. But unlike 47 I actually follow the teachings of Jesus.
Well, Trump casts himself as a champion of Christians. He has made it a prominent part of his political persona. .
Too funny. All on target. Favs are Kristi Noem and last query for Trump. I'm betting he can't without crib notes. @GretchenSmith505405
I am still waiting for a reporter to ask Trump the simple question- "WTF is WRONG with you?"
I know it violates journalistic principles- but any member of the press that does that publicly will become an instant hero.
I just wish a reporter would yell out: "That's a lie!" It would have to be someone about to retirte, because they'd be fired for standing up for the truth.

YES !!! Thanks Mark. I think all of these questions should be asked.
Brilliant, Mark! I do hope some journalists take up the challenge and ask these questions!
Actually these questions are worth copying and mailing to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and asking the person who resides there to be transparent, answer his questions, and ask his relatives and appointees (sycophants) to answer their's.
Love it! Mark, you need a WH press pass! And get invited to major media outlets!!
With your permission, I would like to send these questions to various media outlets.
They could also ask whether he’s had a cognitive test since 2018.

For the New York medical examiner who performed Jeffrey Epstein's autopsy: How does one commit suicide by crushing one's own neck?
Rude questions? More like real questions that we deserve to know the answers to!
I love these questions. If even one got asked and answered I would be happier
